Hello Mr. Lyons,
How have you been, I was surprised to see that you are on here. Although I'm really not on here that much at all, but I'm glad to see that you are still coaching the team. This is Donald Searcy remember me, we use to be friends some years ago. Well Erskine, I'm writing to you to see if I could try out for your team. My wife and I are moving back to Atlanta in the fall of this year, I will probably finish out the year with my team here in Cali for this year. But wanted to see if I could play with someone that I know coaches a team like it should be coached. Since Dave Brice no longer plays or coaches anymore, I know that you would be the one coach that does it just about like him. I'm a major plus player, have been for the last 12 plus years now. I've won over 14 world championships here on the west coast now. I'm just waiting until I am of age to go into the Softball Hall of Fame. I've been informed that I have enough points in which to do so. I really miss you guys and want to come home, to family and friends. I thought I would ask you if it was possible to play with you again because I know you and what you stand for. I think it would be a very good transition for me and your team. When I play with you before, I wasn't very forthcoming, or humble. I learned a lot from you and Dave, which really made me the player I am today. I thank you for that if I never told you. Being on the side of the country really made me appreciate what teamwork is all about Well that's all for, I would love to talk to you if possible my number is 818-481-6963 give me a call anytime if you like. Im retired now and I mostly just train and hit a couple times out of the week. I look forward to hearing from you.

Sincerely,

Donald S.
