| Jan. 13, 2020 Tri18 352 posts | Worth/MIKEN Senior bats for 2020 Well guys.... it’s been around 2-3 months since we introduced our new bats for 2020 including my signature bat the AT18. As most of you know I have been in the bat industry for over 20 years helping to design, test and evaluate Senior, USSSA, and ASA (USA Softball) bats. When I do evaluations I assign grades 1-10 on 4 categories utilizing ONLY true 44/375 senior softballs. 1 being poor and of course 10 being excellent. The 4 categories for comparison are: 1. Swing weight/feel 2. Durability 3. Performance 4. Size of sweet spot in relation to barrel size. This is the first year that ACROSS THE LINE of our different bats, MIKEN and Worth wins with the highest comparison average on all of our bats. My AT18 bat was designed with the idea of making A bat that appeals and fits the BROADEST spectrum of Senior players considering age AND level of play that players compete at.
