To Team Texas -- "Thumbs Up"
The KC Kids 65AAA team would like to give a "both thumbs up" gesture to the Team Texas 65AAA team for giving us one heck of a battle this past weekend at the Rocky Mountain Championships. We met 3 times in this tournament. We won the pool play game -- Team Texas may have been setting us up for the kill by not winning that game :-) -- because we met them again in the 1st bracket play game and they beat us 24-23. So, we had to come back through the losers bracket in order to play them again for the championship. It ended up coming down to "who blinked first". We won that game, but then due to time constraints in order to catch their flight out of Denver, Team Texas could not play the "if" game. So.....THUMBS UP to you guys for a most enjoyable, hard fought tournament!!!!

To the KC Kids softball Team, you're a great bunch of guys, we enjoyed playing against you all. We hope to see you in the World Championships in Vegas next month, who knows, maybe we'll end up playing against each other again. Good luck in Vegas.
