ISA World Series
Just played in the ISA World Series in Columbus, In. In reference to Dunn (Pasture) Stadium, the absolute worst infield and outfield I have played on in almost 40 years of playing softball.
A total embarrassment for a TOC event. Our 3rd baseman barely escaped with his life after numerous horrendous bounces or nonbounces.
Had a chance to win the 65AAA championship on a routine DP groundball when it suddenly took a
10 foot bounce over the SS head. Fielding ground balls were SCARY!! Every player I talked to stated the fields were a joke and a hazard to play on!
Come on ISA and SSUSA, find another complex to play on or move the event! Lincoln fields were great, Dunn Stadium, horse manure, literally!!
On a positive note, the tournament seemed to be well run!

Were you on the Dunn "Pasture" field when you blew a 13 run lead in the top of the seventh and got beat by 8? NOPE!!

Agreed on Dunn---------fortunately we only played 2 seeding games there Friday in 55's. I believe 50 Major was there for the main tourney Saturday & Sunday---------Dunn won our vote as the absolute worst playing complex we have been at since our existence as a team beginning in 2013.

On the other end of the stick however, we LOVED playing at Lincoln Park Saturday and Sunday, was like playing in Yankee Stadium compared to Dunn.

I also agree it was very well run tournament, organized, on time, overall pretty good umpiring.

I knew something was up when I went to the Managers Meeting Thursday evening, and the tourney director's head dropped when he even mentioned the word "Dunn"

The last time we played in Columbus Indiana was 2016, and we never played at Dunn, so I didn't know what to expect. We were at Lincoln Park all 3 days back then.

Where can you find a posting of the results?

We played at Dunn on Sunday, Field 2 was a accident waiting to happen! Love Lincoln Park, very nice facility.

I called Jerry Jackson this week to ask about the results of the Tournament, and he said he would talk to the individual responsible for the website at ISA about getting those posted.
