July 8, 2019 coop3636 514 posts | Come on guys We are trying to make plans (vacations, etc) Does this tourney have any teams coming? We want to come and play, so someone say something..lol coop3636 I wish SSUSA would publish a list of the teams coming to each of their tournaments |
July 8, 2019 DaveDowell Men's 70 4315 posts | We do publish coop3636 ... Shortly after the entry deadline passes (there are Eastern and Western deadlines tomorrow, Tuesday, July 9th) ... Here's the simple why: Say, we have two teams entered early in a division, and six other teams seriously considering coming to the event ... The other six look at it and each says something like "..We're not going if there are only two other teams..", so they don't ... What could have been a nice eight-team bracket collapses into a two-team Best 2 of 3 and nobody is as happy as they would/could/should have been ... So there you have it! ... Patience, please, coop! ... |
July 8, 2019 TimMcElroy 942 posts | Let me try to help you out here, coop3636- The "CULLMAN LAST CHANCE" tournament is being held on the final weekend of roster qualifying season. For teams heading to the WMC in Las Vegas it is your "last chance" to add new players or validate regular players who may have been injured and missed tournaments for another reason earlier in the year. It should also serve as a nice tune-up for all teams. The registration deadline (August 9th) is about a month away and the price is right (just $350). Players have asked many times to bring bring SSUSA tournaments to the region. We've don that, so come on out and support the program. Tim |
