Jamiek - you were able to come on here and ask the question (4 posts), and I found the answer to your questions in less time using Google (bat would HAVE to have an ASA stamp on it to be certified, it's that simple). Not trying to be an #ss but just saying easy to find INFO on most bats online, now asking people's opinion on how a bat performs, that is probably the better questions on this forum.
