Good luck being able to play Friday. the forecast I just saw was worse Friday than Saturday. of course that could change 3 times before the weekend. so it surprises me that you cancelled so early.
You are right about changes occurring repeatedly. However, there are 5 local TV stations in the Bham area which give the same basic forecast of scattered showers late Friday and 60% chance of rain by Noon on Saturday.
The weathermen differ greatly from the Weather channel. So, just trying to be fair as I can in that several teams are coming from quite a distance with hotel rooms involved as well.
There are games scheduled through 5 p.m. The small amount of money that I make on the tourney is not as important as being fair to all the teams.
Again, my apology for Saturday. if it is any consolation, it never got past 49 degrees until 1 p.m. this afternoon.
Sunday is 100% rain with possibly severe weather.
We did play Friday.
