Tee shirts
Our team just competed in a tourney. We qualified for their version of the middle leg of the triple crown. When we got there no other qualifying teams had come. So we are the national champs by default.(Happen another time in a east vs west. no west team and we got bat bags)After being told that we would get tee shirts,it was decided that since no other teams showed up no shirts. How much money is saved by not giving away 14 tee shirts. The shirt would just end up in the bottom of the drawer. It isn't about the shirt but the reason given for not getting one.It isn't our fault that nobody showed. We spent the money to come at least let me get something for my 500 dollars. Thanks for listening. Harry #20 NVF

birdie ... We can't speak for "them", but SSUSA does it differently in Las Vegas ... If a team qualified as an Eastern or Western Champion, and the other side doesn't come, the team that "wins" the USA National Championship by default DOES receive the complete USA National Championship award package (Team trophy/plaque and Champions Jacket for players) just the same as if the game had occurred and they won ... Pretty easy and fair concept in our view ...

Harry and Joe, it’s always good to see old friends at these events. I’m very surprised that neither of your teams did as well as I expected. Are y’all going to Vegas this year?
I’ll be with the San Antonio Silver Streaks playing Major this time. Hope to see you there.

Larry and Joe, Great to see you guys again. Always a pleasure. No Vegas for us this year. Hopefully next year. The Force laid an egg in DL. There is always the next tourney.

Mr Manassas, where is my cheese to go with my whine. Thanks #20

birdie, sorry that association did that to you. Maybe your real complaint might be that they don't have their own message board to allow you to vent to them directly. I knew as soon as I read your message that it wasn't about SSUSA.

Nancy we went thru that in the SSUSA worlds a number of years ago and got bat bags for each player that was there. We won by default then also. We did get our prize that is what surprised me this time. Thanks Harry
