The draft schedule for the Ocean State Qualifier was sent to Emilio a few minutes ago. He is tied up on personal business this afternoon, but plans to contact managers later today.

Scheduler's note-
I would have LOVED to publish this schedule prior to the start of my vacation, however-

4 teams added a late start request over the weekend giving us a total of 7 for the tournament.
2 teams dropped, or were dropped due to non-payment over the weekend.
2 teams opted to play outside of their normal rating group, rather than play a team from their same hometown (result = some quirky equalizers)
3 fields were lost for next Sunday due to heavy rains in Warwick yesterday. (Being a City operated facility, they ("The City") have priority use of the fields. The City league playoffs were washed out yesterday and re-scheduled for next Sunday. We lost 3 of the 4 fields for that day.

The schedule has been re-written for the umpteenth time and now looks like this-
70s & 75s will play mixed pool games on Friday before advancing to separate best 2 of 3 series. Thoses divisions wrap up on Saturday morning.
65s- pool play games on Friday before advancing to double elimination. That division wraps up on Saturday morning.
60s- pool play games on Friday before advancing to double elimination. That division wraps up on Saturday late afternoon.
50s- pool play on Saturday morning / early afternoon before advancing to double elimination. That division wraps up on Sunday afternoon.

Couple of comments- The tournament is now a FOUR game guarantee instead of a five game guarantee. With no lights, multiple late start requests and losing fields on Sunday, there was no way to get the tournament scheduled as a 5 game guarantee.

Going forward, teams should expect 1) a 4 game guarantee format and 2) that the tournament will not honor any special start time requests.

So now that the tournament has been changed to a 4 game guarantee from 5 games. Will we be getting a 20% rebate on our entry fee?
