talked with Birmingham P&R today. There is some rain expected Wed./Thursday, but Friday and Saturday are looking good. We will work the fields Friday and be good to go on Saturday.
May be a bit cool when we start Saturday morning!

Sorry, Cowboy, but there is no crying and/or hugs in baseball/softball!!

However, the good news is the heavy rains this morning went north of Bham by and large. We will be ready to play Saturday morning. See everyone at the park. Thanks and God bless

Great weather had a great time. Didn't look so good at the plate. That's part of getting older. But still had a great time. Thanks Steve

Thanks, Joe. Looking forward to the season, for sure.

Wanted to say thanks to all the teams who participated; Derby City came all the way from Louisville, Ky!!

Thinking about hosting 65/70 teams on Friday next year and everyone else on Saturday. That way I can accommodate more 50/55 teams. Had to turn some down; hurt my little heart!!

Let me know what you think.

Just a thought. Many of us drive up Friday and spend the night. Cost is pretty high for three games.
It would be a lot better if we got to play 3 full 7 inning games. There’s no need for a time limit. Our 4:30 game started around 4:00.

None of our games went 7 innings.

TM44, it was just 3 gg; hopefully, everyone got their fill of practice for the upcoming season. Some of the teams may want to post their records on here.

Steve, you are right. Will make necessary corrections next year. Thanks for sharing that good advice.

Thanks for doing this every year, always nice to get the season kicked off. Games actually were ahead of schedule all day, so playing the full 7 innings shouldn't be an issue from a time stand point. We had a good time and look forward to Montgomery in a couple weeks. Thanks again for giving us a place to start the season.

Thanks Steve for putting on this warmup tourney. Weather was great and we got a chance to play together as a new team (before Montgomery). Competition was good and no one got hurt- a blessing. Thanks again.
