Haven't heard any news on the availability of purchasing the "new softball" that will be using for 2018. Are they available and where can they be purchased? Thanks

We're still on hold until the BSN port of entry into the U.S. receives them ... We're being told "soon", but it's currently on hold ... We'll post here when that status changes ... Anticipating the next question by someone: The T.O.C., being a 2017 Season event, will be using the 2017 ball specification of the BSN/Trump/Stote ...

Hi Dave---I just went to the BSN site and they have this ball listed...other than the name conventions is there any expected difference in play? Trump® MP-EVIL-ISA-Y Evil Sports 12 Inch Yellow Leather Cover (with Micro Cell Technology) ISA Softball 44/375.
If they're comparable --I could get a dozen for practice prior to playing in St. George??
Thanks as always

NY² ... I "think" it's the same ball, excepting as you mentioned, the identifying graphics ... There's no downside risk in getting a dozen, since it will certainly be close, if not identical ... Good luck!

NY, yes the Evil ISA Microcell will be a great comparison. If you try getting them at evil sports.com and I can get you a discount code

Tremor ... Maybe next up should be an effort to find old ballplayers who's legs and arms don't turn to mush on those same hot dog day afternoons! ... It's amusing that the ball gets accused of being worse every year but, somehow, we don't deteriorate physically at all!

DaveD...All the more reason to use a good ball. Mush bodies shouldn't have to hit mush balls lol
