What pair of Solomon's are the best to purchase? What is the price range on this shoe?
Depends on you, I have had good success with the Speedcross. Durability & Traction are pretty good playing in the grass.
Salomon Men's Speedcross 3 Trail Running Shoe. About $105 at the time through Amazon, but you might catch a sale. It's only around $25/year for four years use. Have the deep red/tomato red color to help hide the infield dirt. Light, comfortable, and dry inside after wearing in rain for about five minutes before game called. One con from a reviewer was the sole chipped off pieces from trail running on rocks (dahhh), but I'm thinking I'll get five years use easily on softball fields.
Oh yeah, some don't like the laces set up. Just pull up the laces, slide the locking device down, and slide it under the crossed laces.
Just finished my 1st season using the Adidas turf hog football cleat. Found they to be comfortable. I play outfield and they work well in the grass and reasonably priced around 60.
Let me ask this what is a good comfortable shoe for the infield?
Salomon's, for me, are great for any position.
