| Nov. 16, 2016 yellowjacket95 Men's 55 36 posts | 2017 Adidas Melee 2 Does anyone know when the 2017 Adidas Melee 2's will be available. I believe I read somewhere in a thread that Suncoast Adidas (Lee Trotter) mentioned they are testing them and that they would be available in Jan/Feb of 2017. Any more info would be greatly appreciated! Thanks, Mark |

| Nov. 16, 2016 Hail Ragna! Men's 55 40 posts | I am just checking on something a team mate had said. Do feel the New Adidas Melee bat is a better bat overall than the Miken Black and the Dudley line? We have an argument going on the bats. I like the Melee more than the other too for the simple reason I believe it is hotter. What are your thoughtsa on that. Thanks In Advance. Hail Ragna! |
| Nov. 17, 2016 yellowjacket95 Men's 55 36 posts | Kirk, I am on my 2nd Dudley and although I think it is a great bat, I definitely think the Melee 2 is a better bat. The ball comes off it much better. As an FYI, my 2 Dudleys are 27oz Balanced and the Melee 2 is 26oz. EL. I've also hit the Miken Black (father's bat) but they tend to not be as durable. The new Melee (Melee 12) should be out sometime in December and I will be picking one of those up in either 26 or 27oz EL. To be fair, I have not hit the new Dudley, either the Balanced or EL. I just love the way the call comes off the Adidas much better. Good luck with your choice! |

| Nov. 23, 2016 Trotter25 34 posts | We brought out the Melee 2 in April this year and will go thru 2017. This bat has achieved what Adidas R&D engineers designed it to do. It took the Org Melee added the lightest & strongest composite available to engineer a faster swinging bat with high performance & good durability. Also has the bat flex that you get out of a 2-piece but still have the 1-piece feel. That gives you more control to where you want to hit the ball. The 2017 bat will be the Melee 12" Legends of the Game Pro Player Model. It was helped designed & endorsed by our Adidas Senior Pro Staff: Davey Reed, Bobby Davis, Don Clatterbough & Steve Imlay. This bat besides being 1" shorter barrel explodes thru the hitting zone. It took us 8 more months testing on this bat then the Melee 2. We strengthened up the handle flex to cut down on the whip from the swing. The testers are from 40 to 75 year olds & everybody just loved the feel & pop from the bat. This will be available in limited quantities end of Dec this year. Demos of the Melee 12" will be with the authorized reps from Suncoast Team. Hopefully that answers the questions that are out there. | Nov. 27, 2016 J R 251 posts | 1,000 on each batting practice on monday ,and play 4 days a week and batting practice before league games.I have the Dudley2 short barrel.I am impressed .Ready out of the wrapper. |
| Dec. 2, 2016 16wood Men's 65 77 posts | Trotter, how does the 12" barrel compare to the 13" in terms of swing weight? i.e. will a 27 oz End Load 12" and a 27 oz 13" swing similarly? Or... should a hitter consider dropping or adding an ounce to the original Adidas Melee 2? Bob Woodroof |
