50's Field Assignments
Have the field assignments been determined for 50's Major & Major Plus?

Yes they have. They are in final review mode now by the facility operators. Pending approval (likely Tuesday) they will be released, followed shortly thereafter by seeding/pool game schedules. Brackets will publish as UNDER CONSTRUCTION initially.

What about 50's AAA? Tourny starts in about 10 days.

Same answer for 50-AAA and 50-AA ... The tourney actually started last Friday ...

TENTATIVE FIELD ASSIGNMENTSSESSION #4

50-MAJOR PLUS • Arroyo Grande
50-MAJOR • Lorenzi Park & Shadow Rock Friday/Saturday & Big League Dreams Sunday (Brackets commence Friday evening)
50-AAA • Big League Dreams & Sunset Park Friday/Saturday - Seeding pods playing at BLD Friday are at Sunset Saturday, and vice versa ... Overflow games on Friday morning at Desert Breeze & Cheyenne Park (3 rounds of games at 8:00, 9:30 and 11:00 AM - Brackets commence at 2:00 PM at BLD and Sunset)
50-AA • Russell Road Friday & Arroyo Grande Saturday/Sunday

FIELDS NOTE: The 50-AAA have never played a significant schedule at Big League Dreams (there was a quick cameo appearance for 17 seeding games early on Friday morning in 2012) since the World Masters Championships returned to Las Vegas. We were able to accommodate them at BLD this year because the 40-Masters Women and 50+ Senior Women played last weekend rather than making their usual schedule appearance with the 50+ Men ... Good luck everyone!

Nice that 50 AAA gets playing time at BLD. The biggest draw to Vegas should get a priority to play on best fields.

Been here since last week. The best fields are at Sunset. They are immaculate. And plenty of room for BP.

Axe ... "The biggest draw to Vegas" in numbers plays where they fit ... It's all about games demand as measured against field availability and local league restrictions every year ... The entry fee for a 40-Major+ is identical to the one the 80-AAA team pays and nobody has a priority ... That being said, it was a good thing this year to be able to mix up the field assignments a bit ... Good luck!

Dave. You can't always make everyone happy but thank you for the time and effort you put into this. Couldn't have been more happy with the field assignments for 40's and sure not complaining about the 50's.
Thanks again...
Benji
