Has any one had the line crack. Looks just like someone took a razor blade an put a 10" blade cut. Could be just the clear coat over the paint. Still hits great. Just wondering if someone had this.

My 27oz EL had a quarter size chip of paint come off. No other chipping / webbing or anything. It's smoking hot though.
I believe it's just a clear coat problem. Bat hits as well as the Miken 2016 models that I have. I have around 350 BP swings with Evil BP Balls.
Tommy00 - What bats do you compare the Adidas to?
Went hit bp put 24 with the Evil bp balls. After 12 swings the sound changed. Hit one about 340ft and don't think it's cracked. When I looked at the bottom of the barrel near the handle you could see what looked like the seam and the narrow clear coat straight in line with it. So I might be alright and it's not cracked. Good news for me.
Pop / Distance it hits as well or better than a broken-in 2016 Miken Ultra II Black Big Cat.
Swing ease - It's hard to describe unless you have tried one yourself, but this bat accelerates through the zone better than almost any bat I have ever felt, the only exclusion being the Original Maxload Ultra with the handle flex.
I have both the UII Big Cat and the Adidas Melee 2 in my bag, and in tense situations, I bring out the M2 because of how comfortable I am with it.
Yes thats the clear coat stress from the barrel flex. Adidas R&D tried to minimize the spider cracking that we got from the org Reebok Melee.
The way that the Melee 2 composite is laid out & made is to give max barrel flex to get more performance out of it. It will have stress cracks.
You'll get straight lines on the Melee 2 barrel and if you take care of your Melee 2, and once you get to that point its your "gamer" bat.
