4 players needed including pitcher
Scrap Iron AAA team looking for tournament players, 3rd base, shortstop, and outfielders. We lost players going to the 70 age level, and now need to replace these players. This team has a very good group of core players. We would like to keep the roster at no more than 13, so everyone gets plenty of playing time. Your state must touch Colorado to be able to play on this team. You should be rated a AAA level or Major. We can have 3 Major players on a AAA team. We usually go to about 6 tournaments per year, mainly in the Western U.S. Scrap Iron pays for tournament entry fees and three uniforms, tops, hats, you provide the pants or shorts. A good attitude is a must. NO HEAD CASES!! If you are interested, please call DuWayne Pillard @ 303-437-5340, or Carl Bennett,719-645-3046.

Pardon me, but the age group is 65 in the above post. You must turn 65 in the calendar year 2016.

I believe Tom that the schedule will be Mesquite in March, S.W. Nationals in Vegas, then Reno, maybe Kansas City in July, Aurora, Co. in August(you could stay at my house, wouldn't cost you for board or room)then Vegas Worlds, and finally, Phoenix. That is a an idea of the tournaments, but of course the coaches would have to decide on which tournaments.

d45, you may want to verify SSUSA'a 2016 tournament schedule, since you list Kansas City (in July) as what you believe will be part of your schedule. I'm assuming you were thinking that would be the location for the Midwest Championships, but SSUSA moved that tournament to Rogers, AR this year. Not aware as to why, but just letting you know.

Tom, the team will have to discuss whether they will want to go to that tournament. It would be great to see a new change of venue. I have never personally played in Arkansas, but would enjoy going there.

Thank you, Ed. I am playing on another Scrap Iron team. I just wanted to help out the players left. There is a very good core of players that would help many teams if they need players. They are rated AAA, but some can play Major because of their ability.
Hope all is well with you and Robyn.
