Team 1 Sports Fall Camp Report
Just arrived home from Alan's fall camp and as in the spring event it was GREAT!

Love the atmosphere he creates and all the one on one attention you receive. Maybe Bobby can make a first basemen out of me yet. We had participants from a few blocks away to as far as Connecticut.

Have been to three different camps and this is by far the best value out there. Though all of his advisory staff have played at some of the highest levels of our sport they convey to you their real enjoyment of helping you up your game. Davey Reed is a timeless bomb hitter.

The training and nutritional information from guys holding masters in sports medicine is worth the time alone. Learned some of my current workout program was detrimental to my bat speed.

Already looking forward to his spring camp. I'm sure if you attended one you will agree. You can thank me later.

Hemi,
I think I get as much out of the camp as the guys who attend it. My staff and I always break down the weekend and everyone thoroughly enjoys working with senior athletes who are passionate about softball and want to get better at it. It's a thrill to watch players make progress over the 3 days and see the new skills when we play our exhibition games. How about our two games this year? A 18-17 win and a 18-18 tie on the second day. That was some good stuff. I have heard from several attendees wanting to know dates for the Spring Training Edition so they can sign up. I will be working on that in the next week or two and will be announcing that so people can sign up and reserve a spot.

Brain dead again. I mint to purchase about half dozen of your Team 1 Sport's new softballs before we left Sunday and let our league try them out. Can you just ship six or had you rather ship in boxes of a dozen?

As of right now the fee will stay at $250 and everything you mentioned is included. One banquet ticket is included and additional tickets for spouses and friends are $30. I am working on the host hotels now and will have that information shortly....

Super camp ! Super instructors !
I have never been to a camp with such exceptional individual instruction. ALL of the instructors were extremely knowledgeable and very will to spend time with you and answer questions. A great softball experience.

Besides learning how to hit the ball farther and harder, the most fun was listening to Rich and Carlos picking at each other. They had NO mercy on each other.

Had a chance to hits some of Team 1's new balls today. To feel the ball in your hand it's soft covering seems to indicate it would absorb some of the impact when hit, but they sure come of the bat well and carry as well as any 44cor.-375comp. ball we have hit. If they hold up under summer's high temperatures as Alan stated this is quit an improvement.

HEMI- DONT KNOW IF YOU REMEMBER ME FROM THE FIRST CAMP ALAN HAD, BUT I CAN VOUCH FOR THE BALLS ABILITY TO RESIST HEAT DEGRADATION. USED THEM IN ALANS ONE DAY TOURNEY RIGHT BEFORE VEGAS. TEMPS WERE A STEAMY 90+ DEGREES AND THE BALL WAS STILL JUMPING. HIT TWO OUT STRAIGHT INTO THE 15 MPH WIND BLOWING THAT DAY, AND DURN NEAR HIT ONE OUT OF THE BASEBALL FIELD RIGHT AT 390'. I BOUGHT 2 DOZEN JUST FOR ME TO HIT AND AM WORKING ON OUR LOCAL LEAGUE TO GET THEM FOR THE NEXT YEAR. WINTER TIME DOWN HERE IS PERFECT HITTING WEATHER BUT AS YOU KNOW 90 DEGREES WITH 90 % HUMIDITY MAKES FOR SOME "SACKS OF SNOT" WITH THE STANDARD TRUMP STOTE.

It is not a new ball, they have been on the market since 2004.

If they have been around that long Tattooball I sure wish U-trip would use them. The ones their using now when temps are above 90 degrees are like a sock after about the second inning. I Know- I Know, the other team has to hit them also.

2004 to 2008 they were legal for ASA,NSA,
ISA, and USSSA. They were banned because the deliberately fooled the compression test.

To anybody that wants to know, they are the same ball as the ISA X-Rock that is being used now in Vegas. The only difference is the cover is synthetic. One thing for sure, they do play good in any type of weather. I never said they were a ball that we at Anaconda was working on. If you remember, the other ball companies had their own solution to a double walled ball. All companies were then told they can not use those balls. Only the ISA/SSUSA uses the double walled ball in sanctioned play. If you look at the ball closely you will see it is not a sanctioned ball for any league play. Maybe Alan is planning on starting his own softball association.

Thank you Mark. Yes Prayers do work. I know one thing for sure, and that is you have to take it slow. I remember asking the doc when I had my bleed in my head, will I be able to hit again. I think the wife was pissed because that is the first thing I asked him. It is funny now when I think back but it was not funny then. So with the good Lords help I am swinging again and it never felt as good. Can't say better because I have some work to do on the swing, but it did feel good... Thanks again for the kind words.

Have a lot of great drag race buddies around Detroit. Love going to Mid-Michigan Motoeplex. I believe we stayed in Stanton.
