Discussion: ASA Bats - Top 3 - My opinion

I play in a league that imposes ASA restrictions for bats. I consider myself to be a good ball player (a little above average)and I'm convinced that the appropriate bat will make a difference at the end. Since we don't have all the budget to buy several bats; I thought it would be nice to share with you my top 3 because I've tried several bats this year. First, I must say that I am a player that prefers the «end load» feeling and I usually select heavy 30oz or at least 28 oz bats.
My favorite bat was undoubtedly and by far the TPS Z2000. Apart from his weird «pop» sound, the Z2000 is perfect. With the Z2000, it is with the Z2000 that I've hit the most home runs and the most devastating one too. The Z2000 easily added 30-40 yards to my average distance.I would recommend it to any player wishing to establish himself in the 3rd-4th spot of the batting lineup.
I give the second position of my top 3 to the Worth 454 series. I've tried the 454 Sick and the 454 Mutant. They are pretty much alike (with a slight preference towards Sick 454 for no obvious reason). I found them very comfortable. They offer a great pop and made me very consistent probably due to the extended sweet spot associated with the 454 technology. I would recommend it to any player wishing to establish himself in the 1st-2nd spot of the batting lineup. The new Easton 4.0 gave me quite the same performance but Worth is a little cheaper($).
The last place of my top 3 goes to Miken with the Ultra750x. This bat is a very light OnePiece bat; I would have place it in the 2nd position but given a longer break in period and a small handle vibration, he earned the 3rd place.
I have not been impressed by any Demarini models this year.
Anyone tried the Mizuno bat yet?
My opion, the original freak 98.mine has as much punch as any Ultra II.Jus maybe they were made a little different.
I have very good results from the Miken Triad 3.
To Bullet: You are right, they are great although they have been added to the ASA Non-Approved Bat List (with Certification Marks)...can't use them in an ASA league.
I didn't see the Freak 98 on the ASA Banned bat list, the original Freak has been banned but the Freak 98 is still good to use in ASA leagues.
Puppa...don't you mean 30-40 feet, not yards added to your hits?...How far are you hitting these asa bats
Thank you for correcting me.
