I have talked to a few players already that have been back from Vegas. Said that the X-Rock ball was flying out of all of the ball parks. That is good to hear. They were holding up just fine in the Vegas weather. I saw where Louisville Slugger was giving some bats out to test or use. They look good in a picture that was on facebook. Looks like Ron Parnell is going to be promoting them. Could not ask for a better person. He is still doing his thing like he was 35.

Thanks Guys

They were flying, but also knuckling like crazy. I have never seen a ball move so much. They have no seams.

Mike,

Balls were great in Las Vegas. Wish SSUSA used them in all tournaments they have, especially here in the south where the humidity and heat is death on balls. I was told in Raleigh by an SSUSA official that they won't use the Rock because of cost issues. Let the teams pay the difference if that is the case. Players want to hit good balls.

Dbax, I think the majority agree about the balls knuckling like crazy in Vegas. We played at Arroyo Grande & Dessert Breeze and the balls were dancing for everyone. The first session was very good it was also great having the equipment vendors at the different sites. Loved seeing the Combat label providing their swag for purchase.

Appreciate the feedback gentleman. Yes the X-Rock is a little bit more money. We do make a synthetic micro-cell ball for the ISA. I will bring that up at the ISA convention.. I know the balls do have that tendecy to knuckle. Glad to see the tourney was another success. It is unbelievable to have have all of those teams. Nice job by the SSUSA..
