THANK you very much for your last comment.
People need to quit bitching about everything and just play ball.
Brett

Everyone complains about fields at some point in time ( I have myself), but both teams play on the same field and things are equal. Say your piece and get on with the game.
We are still playing a kids game at our age which should be appreciated.
Just my 2 cents, but again, thanks for saying what everyone else is thinking.

Discussion: What's the Call?

It is bad, but if the umpires calls TIME, whether it is right or wrong, time has been called and all plays stop.
The ump should not have called time that quickly, but he did and the time call stands.
It is no different than a bad strike/ball call. The ump calls it and it stands because it is a judgement call.

The next inning starts as soon as the 3rd out is made in the bottom of the inning...
EXCEPT in Vegas where they have special rules that state the inning starts when the first pitch of the next inning is thrown.
Hope this helps

Hey
It is saved to favorites, also made a shortcut to desktop.
Nothing seems to help.
I eventually get it to open, but just trying to see if I was the only one having problems.
I thought it was just my work computer, but it happens at home also.
Thanks for the suggestions.
Brett

PS.. When it loads, it loads quickly, when it doesn't it times out.

Hey folks,
Does anyone else have a hard time getting this website to load?
I have tried, internet explorer, Firefox, google and edge.
Edge is the only one that seems to work most of the time.
Please let me now if anyone else has this problem or its just me.
This happens on multiple computers from different locations and on my phone.
Thanks
Brett

We have not heard anything as of yet.
The office says it will be out 5-7 days before the tournament.
Hopefully we will hear something by the weekend.

Discussion: teammate having problems signing in to message board.

A former player is starting a new 70's team in Memphis, Tn. He has tried to sign on to the message board but is having trouble with it. His question is that he has 4-5 players that has not played in 5 years or longer and they are rated as a major player from 5 years ago. He needs someone from SSUSA to call him and discuss the steps necessary to get the 4-5 players considered AAA so he can start this team. His name is Darrell Douglas and the team is The Grind.com. Could someone call him on monday. His contact information is on his profile.

Dave
I live in Memphis,TN and Tunica, MS is only 1 hr from here.
(Tunica parks and rec)
It is centrally located.
It has a 4 field complex and is 10 mins from the casinos. (8 of them)
(3 fields are 300' and 1 field in bugger, but they will put up temp fencing at 300')
I ran tournaments there for many years.
The field staff is good and will work with you.
You might want to look there.
Just my 2 cents
Brett

Discussion: Answer this.

Hey Bushnick,
I am a pitcher so I have my own view to this.
I have a glove (and wear shin guards and a mask), I have NEVER been upset when someone hits the middle. ( I mainly get upset for not catching the balls that I should have)
It is part of the game. It always has been and always will be.
If you don't like being hit at, DON'T pitch. Its simple.
I know there have been injuries and deaths when pitchers get hit, but there have also been injuries and deaths when the first or third baseman gets hit.
Should we not hit down the lines?
It is all part of the game and unless a player is intentionally trying to hurt a pitcher, I think it all good to hit the ball wherever you want to.
And yes, I have been hit and hurt before.
Just my 2 cents
Brett Cooper
PS. I actually like the action in the middle.
