Aug. 20, 2021 baseballbill	Topic: Tournaments Discussion: major plus Senior Softball protects all age/class divisions by moving a team up in class when winning the worlds except for Major Plus teams. In the 2019 annual meeting it was proposed that when a Major Plus team wins there age division, they get moved to the next lower major Plus age division(65 to 60) so they also move up in class. For whatever reason, it was voted down. This option to me makes sense and will stop a Major Plus team from dominating a division.

Could it be possible that Fountain Hills approached Rick to run the Tournaments ??? You also talk about the awards, let me enlighten you about that through first hand experience. We won the Fountain Hills Tournament and received a $100 Target Gift Card which was appreciated. We just won the Flagstaff Mountain Madness and received 14 $20 shirts which was also appreciated. You do the MATH.

April 21, 2021 baseballbill	Topic: Rules of the game Discussion: Excessive Speed Again, im saying that the pitch hits the mat. Should there be a definite answer? The way I see it, if its a legal pitch for a strike, the umpire should never consider it more then moderate speed.

Maybe, I should have posted, what is the definition of excessive speed ???

Cactus Yards is a first class 8 field Big league complex. Check it out on there website. AS you know if you read my comments, I disagree with Omen playing with 11 players. You are just as good a hitting team as any 65 Major and you have more home run power hitters. It was a great tournament by all and the games were played within the rules. Good luck and Omen is a class act and we are in awe watching you guys play.
Nov. 15, 2019 baseballbill	Topic: Tournaments Discussion: WINTER WORLD'S • 65/70-Platinum Update Cowboys22: I appreciate your comments and if you watched Omen 70 team, I think you would agree that there not only a great hitting team, they are also a great Home Run hitting Team overpowering any 65 major team. We are in awe watching them hit. They were just unfortunate to lose one bracket game to early which forced them to win 5 games on Thursday. Again they out hit the Scorpions 5 home runs to zero in losing the one game they had to win. In my opinion, if Omen did play with 10 defensive players, they still would have been the favorite to win the Tournament.
