Discussion: Spring Nationals

Just wanted to say Thanks to whoever posted the results so far of the Spring Nationals. I checked today and low and behold there are scores posted. I have friends playing in this tourney and it was nice to see some results. I am partial to the Southern Force maybe because I play for the Northern Va.Force. Good luck to all. Thanks Harry #20 NVF

Discussion: When my team doesn’t play I still want to!!

Too many teams take advantage of the open rosters. I have been to tourneys and seen the same guys playing for 4 different teams in the same age bracket over a 6 month period. I agree that it would be nice to go and play at a tourney that your team is not attending. I do feel that you have to have control over a roster to stop teams from loading up for one tourney. Thanks Harry #20 NFV

Discussion: need some 70 players

The Northern Virginia Force 70 team is looking for some players for the 2019 seasons. We have a number of players who can play multiple position so position not as important as commitment. If interested please respond. If you would like a trial run we could use a player or two for the ISSA tournament in Plant city Fla.The dates are Jan.22nd,23rd and 24th. Being in Florida in Jan somebody must want to play.As always your state must border Virginia. Happy New Year!!! Thanks Harry #20 NVF

21, I agree with you. I quit playing at night about 5 years or so ago. One reason was the seeing at night problem. The other is everybody kept getting younger, faster, stronger and better in a 50 and It is hell getting old. Thanks Harry

We played today in Naples and had 4 guys hit the fence at 320 or 325 at Collier field. I would say that the new ball is just fine. The weather was high 80s to low 90s. Oh by the way it was the opposition. Thanks #20 NVF

Nancy we went thru that in the SSUSA worlds a number of years ago and got bat bags for each player that was there. We won by default then also. We did get our prize that is what surprised me this time. Thanks Harry
