Combine the M and M+; Adjoining states rule in effect; Home runs over limit are outs This would provide good number of teams for tournaments instead of playing 1 or 2 teams. If M+ teams want a division to themselves, let them have it by choice. No restrictions, no limit of players dropped or added, let them slug it out. That is how they like to play & I respect that, just don't subject other teams to their standards. Respect everyone's ability to play, regardless of level. Moving teams up to M+ level is causing teams of all regions to disband. Senior softball waw meant to keep our seniors active & have fun while doing so. M+ division takes the fun out of it for many. Wat a shame. I repeat, I respect the M+ players & they should be able to compete at that level if they so choose.

Do away with the Major Plus Division or force them to play by the adjoining states rule. Home runs over the limit should be outs. If these two suggestions were implemented, the problem would take care of itself.

This was only posted to make members beware of this tournament.

No one would have to be told that it was not a SSUSA tournament. SSUSA has always run the best tournaments in senior softball & always will, because Fran & her staff care!

I don't know any way to get in touch with Thomas. Maybe he will read this on your site.

What a poorly run tournament! My team waited for 30 minutes to begin our 8am game on Saturday morning. Game didn't start until 8:30. The opposing team had never been told what seed they were even after they made numerous attempts to contact someone. One of my teammates was sucessful in calling a member of the opposing team or they would have forfeited.

There were no official scorekeepers. When the umpire asked me to keep the books & the scoreboard, I assumed (not smart on my part) that my scorebook was official. Not so! The home team was keeping the official score, so when I pointed out a mistake in the lineup that was given to me, it didn't matter. Why was I asked to keep score anyway? I would have never questioned anything if I would have been told that someone else had the official scorebook! It would have not been my place! My apologies to T-Rex & his team & fans! My thanks to my husband, teammates & friends that were there to back me up!

The fields were poorly prepared. One field didn't even have double 1st bases. Some of the umps were great & some were terrible (as in every tournament). Even though we received a 3rd place (also last place) plaque, the presentation was non existant.

It is only one person's opinion, that no one cared a hoot about the way this tournament was run.

There were a few problems at Cheyenne this past weekend. They all turned out okay and we all had a great time. Being in Las Vegas with so many friends is what it is about at our age. Winning softball games is just icing on the cake. I love my team & I love icing. Great weekend!
