| April 14, 2020 Chief144 | Topic: Bats Discussion: Proper senior bat weight as we age I have also found that as I get older, 75 now, the balanced bat gives me a bit more speed. I used to use the end load bat but switched last year & it seemed to help. Also, I have changed my grip to overlap my pinky on my bottom hand. I started doing this a few weeks ago at BP & it seems, to me, I am hitting better. Also, I used to hit to RF 99% of the time & now am pulling the ball to left. Not a power hitter. I have used a 26oz bat for years. Thanks. |

They are going around to stores seeing if the are charging more than 10% above the regular price. Asking people to report overpricing. |

Yes, this board is used to talk about Senior SB but NOT to make personnel attacks on someone's integrity & calling him vindictive! I see you are new to this board, 6 posts, so until you understand the purpose of this board & use it as most of us do you should stay off! I doubt you have ever met Dave, but if you are a real man, you should make the effort while in Vegas to meet him. And while you are there, the 1st thing you should do is apologize for your remarks! I have known Dave for almost 15 years, as a player, manager & TD, and NEVER in that time have I seen/heard Dave act in any vindictive way or without integrity! CJ, as stated before there are plenty of other leagues you could play with to satisfy your need to play every day and/or weekend.From reading your history of moving from team to team, maybe you need to look at what kind of TEAM MATE you are! If you switch teams just because you are unhappy about your role with the TEAM, then that affects the TEAM in a negative way! I have played/managed senior SB for over 15 years & have had to "cut loose" players like you appear to be. I hope you can find a team you can stay with, and if you have the talent you say you have, you COULD be an asset to that team with the right attitude. Good luck! Chief144 |
