I believe any one of the teams could have won the tournament. We look forward to the next meeting against NVFORCE and realize the results could be different. | March 23, 2011 E | Topic: General and miscellaneous Discussion: Once in a lifetime play? We had a play in our tournament this past week-end that may never have happened before in softball. Our left fielder caught a short pop up in left. After catching the ball, he throws wide of the pitcher. The runner on third races for home after seeing the wide throw. The catcher stops the ball before it can go into the dug out. Meanwhile the left fielder runs to home, catches the ball thrown from the catcher and touches home for the inning ending double play. |
