Discussion: Miken Pro Series Glove

Hey Goater I have a 14" Miken pro series and I like it alot. I've had it about 2 years now and has broken in very well. I have a Nokona that is made very well and the leather is awesome but I just couldn't get the ball to stay in the mitt. Probably my fault but the Miken works much better for me.

Discussion: Saint George, Utah 61 Year Old Left Hander Looking To Join a Senior Team

Hey Diesel Dan ... I recently bought a 2nd home in the St. George area. I'm also looking for a league team to play on. Has league play started? If not when does it start? I currently play on Rocky Mountain Thunder 60's Major team so I'm just looking for league team when I'm in St. George. I'll be their this Wednesday so I can go to the fields if there are teams going to be there. Thanks for your help.

Discussion: Fuse or not to Fuse

Thanks Ollie. I appreciate your insight. Yes I agree with you about not having it fused. I played Pickelball today. I put KT tape on it and took Ibuprofen. The pain was defiantly less. Fusing is out of the question. Thanks

Discussion: Fuse or not to Fuse

Hey Fellow softball team. I have a question and I need your help. Years ago when I was in my early thirties I injured my right wrist in a softball game. I didn't go to a Doctor and have it checked (yeah I know). I am now in my sixties and arthritis has kick in and it is sometimes painful. I went to a orthopedic surgeon and he tells me I broke one of the small bones in my wrist at sometime in my life and I need to Fuse my wrist. I'm still very active in sports and I don't really want to have it fused.

Has anybody have any experience with a fused wrist? Can you still play softball, basketball, pickelball? What are the limitations? Thanks for you help!

Discussion: Russell Road Softball Complex & Arroyo Grande Complex

Arroyo Grande has dirt infields and natural grass outfields. Very nice complex. One of my favorites. Not sure about the Fields on Russell Road.

Discussion: Outfield conditions a BLD

Just finished up playing in the 55 Majors at Big League Dreams. Great place to play against awesome competion. Can anything be done about the outfield playing conditions. The outfield grass in the areas where the defensive players stand were in horrible condition. Foot wide divits and dirt hard as concrete. Some areas had 2 ft. wide pools of water. You would think that these areas would be repaired before a big tourney like this.
It wasn't just 1 field it was all of them. Some worse than others. They would not allow the infields to be like this. Hey fellow outfielders did you feel the same?

Thanks Mario. I have a brand new 13" but I was wondering if I should have bought the 12". I'm thinking I will sell it and get the 12"

Congrats Tim and Curly. You guys took the same route we did for second place. We played a very good San Antonio team in the championship game for our 4th game of the day and ran out of gas also. We had a great time playing against some good teams.

I swung this bat in batting practice and was hitting bombs with it as was Jdawg. I was very impressed. It's as good as the Rebok and the Mikan. Not sure about durability. I will be hitting it again in Vegas.

Hey Jack.... There are senior leagues at the valley complex in Taylorsville. They play on Monday and Wednesday night, starting in April. I don't have a phone number for you but if you call the county rec center I,m sure they can help you out. I have watch some of the 65 and older teams play and those guys can still play and they love the game. Good Luck in finding a team. I will be playing on both nights for a 55 team and a 50 team.

Discussion: Reeb ok bats

I bought a Melee in March 2011 at the Mesquite Tourny (not from Ed). Got 50 swings out of it and it broke. Gave it back to the Rep I bought it from and he said he would see what he could do. Seen him at a tourney later in the year and he said Rebok would not do anything so I told him just give me the bat back and he said it he didn't have it and it was in his garage but was not sure which one it was. I'm sure I will never see it again. I loved the bat. It was great for 50 swings but I will never buy one from him again.

Ed ... I bought a 28 oz. Balanced Melee back at the Mesquite Tourney at the end of March. I haven't used until this last weekend at the LVSSA Nationals. We played 10 games so I got about 40 to 45 swings on it. I loved the bat but it has already cracked. I would like to get another but not if it is only going to last 40 to 45 swings. I will be in Phoenix and I will come see you. If you can help let me know.
