Still available to join a 60 AAA or 55 AAA team for this event (think might be eligible for some AA teams too).

If your team needs help due to a player drop due to injury, travel or personal issue, or you just want to add roster depth for the event when temps in SG will be hitting 100+ degrees, let me know ASAP/by Wed 8/12 and I could help you out.

Recently turned 60, available to play for a 60's or 55's AAA or AA team in St George Aug 14-16, have travel booked. Can play 3B/2B (preferred) or OF. Had a .722 OBP at Salem tournament last week.

Contact me at bkovalsky@yahoo.com, thx

Thx SSUSA - so this effectively replaces the previously postponed Spring Worlds (moved from March > August in Mesquite). At least we have clarity now.

Benji, great comedy but laughing and also crying, because it's likely true.

Yes, SSUSA should look at alternate locations for Western Champs in Sacramento, Reno or somewhere with elevation in AZ are alternatives, but it's gonna be hot almost every west in late July.

Not attending, but it sounds like Tim/SSUSA is doing a *fantastic* job given the constraints and timing of field availability.

My only hope is that this will be appreciated by all, instead of the negative "what about me" comments.

Wood and Oz, totally agree with you; we have a dictatorship in WA state too, sad that politics drives their “Rules”.

Hoping we hear on Monday that 60+ is on in Reno, I’ll come no matter what the rules needed to play, it’s all temporary anyway.

To those not wanting to play due to a perceived risk, then just don't come. But let those who want to play, play.

From what I heard, SSUSA is trying to confirm the fields for Reno this week, so we should heard confirmation soon...be patient, and most travel bookings should be cancellable anyways.

Appears SSUSA is focused on holding this event for 60-85's on June 2-4th, waiting for them to confirm the fields, let's play ball!

For those worried about hotels in Reno in early June, there are plenty open - Marriott, Hilton, IHG and others. Possible that the casino hotels will not be open by then, but you’re going to play softball, not gamble.

Bruce M, you needed to respond sooner than 3 months later. I found another team.
