Dammit D˛.... I thought I had seen this issue before, but did not realize it was me that started the dialogue. The part that became convoluted was the switching of age groups, more so than sliding straight across the age spectrum.

So..... I can go play for a "local" team as a "one-time" helper (and not jeopardize my current team), no matter how any players are on their roster for a particular tourney?

D˛, as always, thanks for the response.

Discussion: Player Add / Rule Book

There have been numerous posts (throughout the year) regarding players available to play (sub) in specific tournaments. These posts appear to be “one-off” requests. How is this accomplished if players are already rostered on another team?

Somewhere I remember something about a “hired-gun” statement versus a permanent add but could not find or recall the narrative.

I have searched the BB for previous posts on this “borrow” topic/issue but have yet to get clarity how this (substitute/borrow player) works and most importantly under what rule book section is this clearly defined. Thank you !!

Discussion: Las Vegas - 60 AAA - National/American Pod

While I completely understand the "You Do" explanation AND the serpentine draft... What I don't understand is,, in the alphabet system "A" come before "N", so how is it that, the serpentine draft starts with the National Pod (first) ahead of the American Pod ?? Yes, I know, too much time on my hands....

Discussion: results from session 1.

Thank you Stephanie. One question, will this be the final release? I ask because the only 60AAA bracket page shown is the "championship/finals" page, whereas the lead-up to brackets (National and American pods) are missing. TY again, great work.

Discussion: What do 12 and 6 foot arcs really look like?

Thanks Bruce. As a 6'-0" pitcher myself, it's easy to achieve the 6 ft arc (most anything above my head). But the perception from a batter perspective is, that from 60 ft, the pitch is a "fast pitch" meeting the 6ft height threshold . There is no way to achieve the "same pace" with the given 6ft vs 12ft (arc) geometry. In lies the big debate. Thanks again for the video, and good luck in LV.

Discussion: Curious

When using a "pod" system for bracket play: (a) What determines which team is assigned which pod? And (b) Once placed in a "pod" is there any crossover between "pods", be it in the championship bracket or the elimination bracket? TY

The primary reason for the question is, "it's always fun to play different teams"....

Thanks D˛... Love the new approach to team listings and tentative field assignments, by session, prior to posting on the actual tournament page. Clean, informative, easily referenced. Bravo..

Discussion: Rule Change?

VegasBob... Are you implying (example) that 50 or 55 yr olds are being "allowed" to play in the 60 division? Likewise, 60 yr olds, playing in the 65 division?

Discussion: Qualifier vs Rec Tourneys

Other than the statement made in the header of the Rec Tourney Listing, which is, "These tournaments are sanctioned by SSUSA. They are NOT qualifiers. SSUSA roster restrictions do not apply", what is the clear differences between the two? (1)What does "sanctioned" actually mean? (2)Are the Rec Tourneys recorded/tracked in a teams' database? (3)How does (can) a Rec Tourney "graduate" to a qualifier?

Discussion: The Proton Top Gun Tune-Up

This appears to address the 65 and up divisions.

Will the two day format also apply to the 50 thru 60's?

And when will a decision be made and reflected on tournament page?
