| May 20, 2019 Dem2 | Topic: Tournaments Discussion: ACC Tournament This weekend was my first ACC tournament, I had heard nothing but good things about the tournament and Raleigh. Raleigh was great!!! But the tournament itself left me a little to be desired. One we played 55 Major and Major plus games on a little league fields. I understand that there was something that prevented a previous complex from being utilized, but the fact that we played games on fields that were 270 down the line and 285 in CF, to compound our sponsor probably bought 2 to 3 dozen balls because you couldn't retrieve balls on one field is totally unacceptable to me. I am also curious as to the rating system being utilized to place teams in the correct class. I know I watched a few Major teams with 5 or 6 Major Plus players that I have played against previously and they are still allowed to play Major. I enjoy anytime that I get to play this great game, but if these fields were the only fields available in Raleigh maybe the tournament should be held at a different venue. Just my opinion. |

| May 21, 2018 Dem2 | Topic: Tournaments Discussion: Loudon Duffy7 I went out to watch the games at Bolen and was thinking the conditions would be horrible, but after the first game or two the fields were actually in great conditions and they were dragging the fields in between some games, by the end you wouldn't have known that it rained all last week. |
| Sept. 1, 2016 Dem2 | Topic: General and miscellaneous Discussion: Colin Kaepernick This is what I find interesting, I have most of these posts and it almost makes CK points, people have got on here and belittled the man, called him unintelligent and a few other things. But this is what generally happens when someone brings up something that is not popular, We talk about everything except what the issue is. This man has taken a peaceful approach to something he perceives to be a problem, whether you agree with him or not, his first amendment right gives him that ability to do so. It doesn't matter how much money he makes or if he has served in the military. There are clowns on TV everyday that have been voted into various elected position that have said and do far worst and there is not a peep said. I served 22 years in the military and have no problem with him voicing his opinion because we are all afforded that right. But everyone is on here calling the man all kinds of names and questioning his intelligence which none of you know anything about, being the greatest QB doesn't make you intelligent, it makes you a good QB. I know a lot of great softball players that are great players but complete idiots. LOL Bottom Line Freedom of Speech is just that. Don't attack people personally because you don't agree with them |
