Discussion: Batter pops up, doesn't run; defense lets ball drop to get a double play. Legal?

Dave. Following up on the rule, if the defense thinks they've turned the DP, and the umpire rules only one out, which runner is assigned first base?
The batter who is halfway to the dugout and never went near the bag? or the runner who had originally occupied the bag?

Discussion: Collapsible Pitching Screen

Fred. thanks. I've looked at their website, and they look good, but at 299 I'm trying to find a cheaper alternative. We need two for our league this year.

Discussion: Collapsible Pitching Screen

Looking for a reasonably priced collapsible, portable pitching screen that fits in a bag. Have found something called the PowerNet I-Screen on line for about $75 bucks. The others are $200 or more. Anyone have any experience with this brand? It does look a little bit light. Or have any recommendations? Thanks
