Feb. 9, 2023 bond_171513 | Topic: Tournaments Discussion: TOC My team played at Loyce Harpe and we had no issues with the umpiring. Not all fields had 2 umpires on Sunday for every game, but that was not issue. It is not a fault of SSUSA if not enough umpires were available or no-showed. |
Nov. 3, 2022 bond_171513 | Topic: General and miscellaneous Discussion: Balls DD & Staff - true the news that you (SSUSA) have signed a 3-year agreement for the Baden Fire Senior to be the official and only ball for your events? |

Sept. 26, 2022 bond_171513 | Topic: General and miscellaneous Discussion: Poor planning in vegas PLUS - LVSSA used to supply the water in the dugouts at all the parks - BUT - since they made the erroneous-imo -decision to split from SSUSA, they are no longer affiliated with the WMC - also the reason why the fields are not kept up between games as they used to be. AND - a lot of people come on this message board and say how happy they are NOT to be at BLD so they can bring their own water and food into the park. |

Sept. 22, 2022 bond_171513 | Topic: General and miscellaneous Discussion: Just heard this about BLD Chicago Cubs - 7th in overall home attendance. 9th in average home attendance. Hmmmm empty seats? AND FYI - Road attendance - Cubs 3rd. Cards - 15th. :) |
Aug. 24, 2022 bond_171513 | Topic: General and miscellaneous Discussion: Teams on FIRE WOW!! Remember - barring an extreme circumstance, SSUSA only re-rates in June & December, plus the auto-bumps after Worlds. So, if a team is not bumped BEFORE Western/Eastern Nationals, then they won't get bumped until after Worlds. So winning Westerns and Rocky Mountain won't get you bumped for 2022, but certainly both these teams are destined to get bumped up AFTER - probably regardless of how they do at Worlds. |

March 28, 2022 bond_171513 | Topic: Tournaments Discussion: Spring Worlds St. George Dave and all the directors at The Canyon's Complex are to be commended on a very well run tournament. Additionally, in the 7 games we played there, the umpires were terrific and maybe the best we've had in a long time. Overall, a great time and a great tournament. However, is it too soon and/or inappropriate at this time for SSUSA to address the rumors regarding this being the last tournament there? The ridiculous increase in fees for the fields - if true - are unbelievable! It would be a shame for this to be true as certainly St George and The Canyon's are one of our favorite places to play. |
April 19, 2021 bond_171513 | Topic: Tournaments Discussion: Southwest Tournament Jon 44 - You are correct - the city's of Las Vegas, North Las Vegas and Clark County P&R should be ashamed of these fields and their condition considering how much revenue is brought into this area - in large part thanks to the efforts of SSUSA... However - curveball is absolutely correct - IF that other organization were still involved, the fields at Cheyenne would have been in much better condition and more playable than this year. |
April 19, 2021 bond_171513 | Topic: Tournaments Discussion: Southwest Tournament Curveball - Imagine the fun 50AAA had going from running on the sandy beaches at Cheyenne (horrible fields) to the artificial turf at BLD - back to the sandy beaches Saturday, then on Sunday to the cement infields at Russell! Fun Times! |
April 7, 2021 bond_171513 | Topic: Tournaments Discussion: Southwest Tournament Dbax - Cheyenne refurbished? Talk about LOL.... there's a reason SSUSA had to move night games from there to BLD.... last time I drove by there - last week - the outfield looked like our other favorite field - Shadow Rock.... |
