| Aug. 20, 2018 gonz | Topic: Rules of the game Discussion: what is the ruling? watched a game this weekend. In our league you are allowed one HR per game. After that Hr is counted as out. Team up to bat already hit one out so done for the rest of the game. Team hit a ball off the top of the fence, then went over. Umpire first said it was 4 base award. The team on the field appealed that this is an out as it didn't touch a fielders glove before going over fence which it hit. What would be the correct ruling? I saw an ad for softball shoes but it was metal baseball cleats. I haven't seen anyone using metal baseball cleat shoes. I would think that you can't use it for safety reasons in SSUSA.
