Where on the player registration form do I indicate that I'm a snow bird?

I'm a new resident in Florida. This past summer I lived in Minnesota and played on a 65 AAA team there. I'll be moving back to Minnesota for the upcoming winter. What do I indicated on the player registration form? I want to attend and play in Phoenix with the Minnesota team.

Just moved to Mayer, MN. I'm 63 and will turn 64 next March. Have played senior tourney ball since I was 55. I play the outfield primarily, but will play where ever needed. I've played with the Buckeye Classics 50 & 55 teams, Dayton Legends 55 & 60 teams, Pet Supplies plus 60 team and the Antique Roadshow 60 team. All the teams based in Ohio or states bordering Ohio. Willing to try out.

I did attend this past weekend. Surprisingly, the rain did hold off. $5 entrance fee is a joke and as everyone else has stated, the restrooms were absolutely nasty. Ditch this tourney or find an alternative location with better facilities. Enjoyed the ability to get out and play ball an see people for a change.

One dogg,

Don't worry about the Brickyard being cancelled. It won't. Three years ago with numerous fields under water, the tourney was never cancelled. There were injuries as can be expected when laying in those conditions. Each team had to make their own decisions about continuing to play or pulling out. Why wasn't it cancelled? Can't answer that.

I surprised to see nothing about the teams entered for this tournament that's scheduled to happen less than two weeks from today. What's the status of this tourney for 2021? Is it still happening?

Thanks

Discussion: BP in Davenport/Orlando area

I am in Davenport, Florida for the month of March into the first week of April. Are there any public softball fields in the area that can be used for BP? Or does anyone know any one that takes BP in the area. I'm willing to drive at least an hour and half. I play AAA 60's softball up North.

Since these two states share a state line that is in the water, can a Minnesota player play on an Michigan team legally according to SSUSA rules?

Thanks

If you noticed, the umps were wearing green ISA shirts. In ISA, if you carry the bat to first base and touch first base, you are out. Even though this was a USSSA sponsored tourney.

Go back and look at all the comments from last years Brickyard. It should have been cancelled last year. This year there has been even more rain. USSSA needs to step in if the local people won't and cancel this sooner than later.

Discussion: Cataract Surgery

No adjustment needed for me. I had over 75% cataract blockage on both eyes and didn't know it back when I was 49. After surgery everything looked like high def to me. It was amazing. Only issue was halos with on coming headlights from cars at night.

What am I missing here? SSUSA has stated for 10 years that the ball of choice is the Anaconda Trump Stote 44/375 ball. SSUSA says they are very content with that ball despite complaints otherwise. Unless SSUSA is tied to a long multi year contract with Anaconda, why wouldn't SSUSA look into changing the ball? Isn't it the players that support all of senior softball and are the reason any of this is possible? Is SSUSA here for the players or here for their benefit only? The cost of senior softball tourneys is high as it is. Someone is making a lot of money from it, otherwise it wouldn't be here. These tournaments aren't here to break even. SSUSA is a business and I don't mind them making a profit, but if the majority of players don't like something, why wouldn't it be changed or at least considered?

What would be the correct way to bring this up for consideration by SSUSA?

Everyone wants to play games, but the field conditions after the Saturday morning rains came left these fields in horrible shape. Even though the sun came out Sunday, there was just too much water that had come down on them. A better understanding of the facilities ability to get fields in playing shape should also be known before hand. There comes a time when players safety must become the top priority. That was not the case this weekend.

Raining like cats and dogs here. 45 minute delay currently. I think we're done for today, imo.
