Knowing the current at bat will result in an out, would it be improper to just finish that at bat without swinging, hoping for a walk?

Alan Tanner is legit.
I have not only bought his equipment, but also benefited from numerous conversations with him over this game we love. Forget the dollars side of this discussion.
I have also grieved with him over the recent loss of his son.
This forum and all of senior softball is a better place because for the passion for the game that players like Alan are willing to share with others.

Lots of opinions here on compression testing, but what tester are you using? The ASA and USSSA testers do not have a pass/fail PSI or index for senior bats. What tester measures BPF 1.21? Isn't that a manufacturer's declaration?

Discussion: which do your prefer on a 5 game guarantee?

Traditional 3 pool, then double elim preferred. But if the DE w/3 game guarantee reduces total games to the point that a 3-day tourney can be shortened to 2 days, I'm all for it. Not a likely probability.

We finished 4th and received nothing, but had a good time. Actually really enjoyable event. Could care less whether the TD made money.

Discussion: Batting Average or On Base Percentage

The most common walk is the intentional walk when the max runner is on third. I have a problem with awarding this batter the equivalent of a hit in the book when he's done nothing. That's the main issue I have with OBP.

Well organized and very well run senior softball 3-day training camp. Highly recommend this.

Discussion: Preferred tournament wants, Short replies, please.

1. Entry Fee not as important as below items
2. 5 or more game guarantee
3. Two day max if only 5 games (hotel cost)
4. RR or double elimination--depends on number of teams
5. Are you kidding? Senior bats definitely
6. 44/375
7. Like 65 over 70' bases, but this is done deal at 70' now in SSUSA, right? (I'm in 65 Div)
8. Mixed only if too few teams in your division.
9. Prizes not too important
