After reading your post, I discovered that there are actually 5 teams playing in the 55AAA division in Knoxville that are rated as Major teams in SSUSA. Does ISSA rate teams differently?

Discussion: Cow Town Classic - Shawnee KS

Even though we didn't win at all, I thought the Shawnee tournament this past weekend was a fun time for our first tourney of the year. Tourney was well run and our 55AAA opponents were a bunch of great guys to play against. And it was the best weather we have ever had there other than the overnight rain that messed up the warning tracks for Sunday. Looking forward to next year.

I agree with nearly everything above but I would disagree that Gatorade and Powerade are better than Pedialyte for hydration although all do help with hydration. Pedialyte has nearly twice the sodium and less sugar. The sodium helps the body retain water and stay hydrated for longer. Pedialyte is also proven to help the body maintain its potassium level better which helps regulate blood pressure. The big difference that Gatorade and Powerade have over Pedialyte is more carbs which in turn provide more of an energy boost. Overall, each is beneficial and it may just come down to your preference in taste and cost. All good advice above.

In leagues I have played in, it is usually a minimum of current game plus the team's next game. More serious circumstances might result in rest of season, multiple seasons, or permanent expulsion.

Discussion: Loss of a great man

It is with great sadness that I learned today that our teammate, Chuck Burns, passed away this morning as a result of a massive heart attack. Chuck was a great player and friend and, more importantly, was a great human being. Condolences to Chuck's family and all who had the privilege to know him. RIP Chuck.

Discussion: Line drive hits base

Not just the strike mat, but it would still be a fair ball even if it hits foul territory before passing first or third base as long as it re-enters and settles in fair territory before passing first or third as long as it hasn't been touched by a person or object foreign to the natural ground while in foul territory.

LOL Stick. I will wait to see what the grand prize was for answering the earlier question before I decide on your nomination!

Stick, one correction. Tammy Duckworth is a U.S. Representative from Illinois (not Kansas) who is running for Senate this year

As Fabe noted earlier, there are several new ratings from June and July 2016 in the various age groups. What exactly are you looking for?

I agree. I think you got shorted also. I think the fields were playable at 8, especially when compared to what everyone played on at the Brickyard. We all were shocked that the loser's bracket was cancelled.

Rich, we played on Sunday in the winners bracket and the fields were in perfect shape. We started first game at 10. Only change they made was 55 minutes instead of 60. I think the main issue was that they had to be done for leagues later that day.

Thank you coop3636. That is what we thought and also got same answer from Sacramento office this morning. Just overthinking the index ratings too much last night.

If a current 50AAA team has a majority of players that are 55+, can those players also play as a 55AAA team or would they be 55M?
