Discussion: Miken softball gloves

Miken is famous for bats. Worth and Mizuno have great gloves that are pretty much broken in.

Discussion: TCB or simliar ball

These balls are meant to be training balls for "practice",
not before games. I understand that a lot of teams are doing this due to space limitations, but it is not what the manufacturer has in mind. They are very durable and long lasting, which balances out the cost factor.

These fall apart when hit. It is what it is...a less expensive model
of the BowNet and others.

Discussion: SOFTBALL SHOES

Shoes are almost like a glove, each one you try may feel good, but one will stand out. Especially with a wider foot. Look at Adidas and New Balance.

Mizuno Blast will not be adding colors. Talking to the Mizuno rep about colors, etc. will not move this issue forward. Mizuno makes a good shoe, no doubt, but adding colors gets in the way of the profit matrix . Two years ago they cut the Blast to black/white or gray/whi. This year and to continue in 2017 is the black/white version. This shoes wears thin. We've had many customers over the years that will go up a 1/2 size to have the added width.

On the 3/4 top shoes, there just aren't many being made. Tanel made a great one back in the day, but they have closed shop. If you still run pretty good, the Boombahs and 3N2 will slip a bit.

Hope that helps.

Discussion: why?

All associations are better than Florida Half Century. It is normal for them to take a month or more to post results. It's unbelievable. 150+ teams in 50's & 60's and they seem to be going backward relative to information and reporting. Don't feel alone grayhitter59.
