You should let teams know that this not a 5 game guarantee, Then you would not have to worry about having to many games to schedule. $395 for 4 games is crazy. If i would have known we could have spent our money elsewhere.

What's up with the 65 Major and the 65 AA playing all their games at Golden Eagle while the 65 AAA have to play all their games at the worn out San Rafeal fields? Does not seem fair. Every team should have games at Golden Eagle.

Discussion: 5 Run Rule

Great job on the tournament SCSSA staff. The only big problem I feel that needs to be addressed is rosters. In our division the 65 AAA teams had to give 5 runs to 65 AA teams that added major players to their rosters. I think they should have been reclassified as AAA teams. This would not be allowed in SSUSA tournaments. Maybe SCSSA needs to have teams send in a copy of their SSUSA certified rosters to keep things right.

Discussion: SPRING WORLDS FIELD CHANGES

SCRAPPY6 my sentiments exactly. I have lost two players for this tournament because of the field changes. We pay enough for the tournament and now we either change our hotels to St George (the cost is more than double) or drive and extra 250 miles to commute for three days to Snow Canyon. We may have to drop out if I can't locate a player or two too help us out.

Discussion: A different DOB structure

According to the flyer I received for the Menifee Tournament it reads SSUSA rules will apply. The problem I see with the DBO rule is that the umpires interpret the rule differently. A ball hit into the pitchers box should not be a automatic double play. The DBO should be enough of a penalty. We had a ball that bounced 5' over the pitchers head that was called a double play. I don't see anything that the pitcher can't touch over his head should be considered in the box.

Discussion: Torunament Schedules

I have played Senior Softball for eight years. Six as a manager . My team (California Crush) just played in the Las Vegas tournament. Why is it that when you sign up to play in a SSUSA tournament the schedules are never available until a day or two befor the first scheduled game? SSUSA has a two week cut off date, which should be plenty of time to get the schedules organized and sent to the managers. This late scheduling creates problems for all managers and players. It happens at every tournament. If you are going to have a two wek cut off date, Stick with it.
We plan every year to come to Las Vegas to play ball and enjoy what the city offers. When we get a game schedule of 8:00 am, 12:00 pm, 6:00 pm and have to be back early sunday morning, It does not give us any time to enjoy Las Vegas. It was very cold in the morning and evening. The las Vegas team and Ohio team had 9:15, 10:30 Saturday , 9:45 Sunday games. The other teams completed their saturday schedule within a 4 hour span. The only answer I got for this schedule was "It was the luck of the draw" That will not get it. With this computer age, There is software that all you have to do is feed it the info and it will give you a FAIR schedule, Instead of accompaning some teams
