| Aug. 20, 2012 Ray5523 | Topic: Players looking to join a team Discussion: Looking for a Team and information I am located in Statesboro Georgia and have played ball for 33 years. I play 3 and 4 nights a week. Being a retired military member I also travel with the 116th Air Guard softball team to the guard nationals every year making 26 of the last 28 yearly tournaments. We just played in the 47th annual in St Joseph Missouri during the week of 14 Aug.. I pitch, second, first, catch and eh. In the guard tournament I play open, over 35, and over 45. I usually hit anywhere from 3rd to 6th in the lineup. I am turning 50 in April of 2013 and I want to play tournament ball still and meet and establish new friendships. Softball has been a big part of my life since I was 16 playing church league. I have been blessed to have played on 11 National Guard championship teams competing in the open and over 35 brackets plus to many to remember local tourament championships inluding state tournaments. Looking for information on leagues or tournaments and teams that need a player. Thanks Ray |
