Discussion: Thank you

The team "No Guts, No Glory and Jack and Mary Brunschmid would like to personally thank Director Keith Parker and his wife Paula for their outstanding help when our player got hit in the face with the ball. They jumped right in and got the bleeding stopped and our player all fixed up so that he could continue to play. After an inning or so when it started bleeding again, they were right there again. They went above and beyond, and it is truly appreciated. Thank you guys again.

One of our teammates had his truck broken into yesterday (June 22) while parked in the parking area at the Diamond Valley Sports Complex in Hemet during our games. If anyone saw anything that might lead to the identity of the thief, please let me know so that we may pursue actions against them.

Thank you,
Jack Brunschmid

Discussion: Lost wedding band

Sadly, Jack's ring has not been turned in. So once again I am asking for everyone to talk to anyone they know, friends, family, kids, to see if they know someone who might have picked up his wedding band. We have had a couple people even look with metal detectors. That is why we think someone picked it up. Maybe put in their pocket, and forgot about. Please also pass this on to people who might not get on this site. This was at the Huntsman games in St. George, Utah at the Canyon Complex, Please, if anyone knows anything at all, contact me.

$500 reward. NO questions asked.

Sadly, no one has turned in Jack's ring. Please ask around once more to see if any family member, child or softball player that does not get on this site, may have picked it up. Maybe someone was wearing a jacket that day in St. George, Utah, as it was 35 degrees. Then they got back home and did not wear that jacket again and forgot about the ring. Please everyone ask everyone a few more times. I am desperate to get my husband's ring back. Trust me, I know how stupid it was to lose it in the first place. But it truly was an accident. Please help me. Once again, there is a $500 reward for this ring. No questions asked. We just want the ring back.

Discussion: Major Plus Equipment

Rightrj1 - I am the manager of a 65AAA team that just got bumped up to major as a result of our second place finish in a 27 team division at the World Masters. We are keeping the same players this year that we had last except one. We will play at the major level with the expectation of being competitive without picking up more major or major plus players. You see, we have a group of players that care about winning deeply but we refuse to breakup our friendship to ensure that we win. We play to have fun, enjoy each other's company and win. After all, it's considerable more fun winning than losing. I have yet to play against any other 65AAA team that does not care if they win or lose. IMO, we all try the best we can every inning of every game. Granted, we have lost some reflexes that we used to have and don't quite run as well but to say we don't care about winning is simply incorrect. "Dumbing" the game down is not the answer. Playing at the proper skill level with whatever restrictions apply may be.

Everyone,
Unfortunately Jack's ring has not been turned in.We are truly hoping at this point it has been picked up. There have been a lot of people that have been looking for the ring and I don't think that many could have missed it. I am asking that we be the "softball family" that we claim to be and I need everyone's help. Please pass this message to anyone and everyone that you know. Maybe someone does not get on the message board. Maybe a child or family member picked up the ring. If you have, please contact me at 951-704-9455 or marybrun7@gmail.com
I gave Jack that ring 11 years ago and would like him to wear that very same ring many, many years from now. PLEASE help me get the ring back.
I am offering a $500 reward. NO questions asked.
Thank you.

LOST WEDDING BAND. Hi Everyone. I still really need your help finding my husband's wedding band. We have had many people looking. We think that someone picked it up. PLEASE talk with your spouses, any family members that were at the Canyon Complex that day, possibly a child that might have picked it up. Maybe someone put in their pocket to turn in and forgot about. Not unheard of. When we got back to CA, a gentlemen told us he lost his ring at a tournament and 3 weeks later was contacted. We are trying not to have to wait the 3 weeks. PLEASE contact Mary if you have any information at all. 951-704-9455 or marybrun7@gmail.com
We were on Field 2 at the Canyon Complex, 3rd base side, also on the field from the 3rd base gate to the home plate, and then back and forth to the bathrooms, and over for pictures. Please contact me if found, or if you turned in or know anything about it. Thank you.
Sincerely,
Mary Brunschmid

We are hoping by now that someone has picked up my husband's ring. We have had many, many people go over everywhere near field 2, and the other places that we were and have not located it. If anyone has ANY information at all about this ring, please see contact information above. If you are still at the Huntsman games and could take a few minutes to look-maybe under the fence that separates the bleachers, or anywhere near field 2 or the grass area where they took pictures, or across the sidewalk from there, it would be greatly appreciated. I am heartbroken and would love to be able to give my husband his ring back.
Sincerely,
Mary Brunschmid

Thanks Dave. My issue was when it was brought up that we may have been bordering on shading the rules or cheating. That would never happen on a team that I had anything to do with.

Let me address this as I am the manager of the team that was allowed to use last year's balls. I was not at the managers meeting nor was anyone from my team there as I do not want to subject my non-smokers to the second hand smoke that is always present at the hotel's where the meeting are held for all Las Vagas tournaments.
That being said, I brought two of last year's balls as backup balls only and that is how they were used. I went to the field director and the UIC and officially inquired about using these balls. The both said the Terry had approved their use. I would have NEVER used them if they were not approved.
I am deeply saddened that someone who doesn't even know me or my team is questoning our/my integrity. There was absolutely no intention of "shading the rules or cheating". That would never happen! I respect the game and the people that are still playing it way too much to do such a thing.

Respectfully,
Jack Brunschmid
