Discussion: 60AAA player looking to play ISSA Virginia Beach and Roanoke Valley tournaments

60softballplayer, Thanks for the response, yes this I am the same player that played for Hartford LV out of Maryland on a very good team with a great bunch of guys. I am looking for a 60 AAA team to play with in Roanoke, I am playing with a 50 team in Virginia Beach on my local team to get some swings. I believe the 60 AAA team rosters are now closed. I have only played in the ISSA Richmond, Va (60 AAA) tournament this year with the Carolina Tank Lines in which we placed third. I am still basically a number four of five hitter that hits for a high average with long ball power to all fields. -- --
Thanks again for the response, stay safe.

Good Day - 60AAA team folded (Carolina Tank Lines), I am a Chesapeake, VA resident and am looking for a 60AAA team. I have played first, third and catcher. I have only played one tournament this year (ISSA Richmond), I am primarily a four/five hitter that also hits for average, (above average power to all fields). I can provide character and ability references, I am looking forward to playing a lot more senior softball tournaments once the present virus has been mitigated. Thank you for your time and the opportunity to play.
Very Respectfully
B.J.

Discussion: Looking to play ISSA Winter Nationals Virginia Beach 60 AAA 5 October

Good Day, I am now eligible to play the senior 60 circuit this tournament, I am an active player in the Southeast Virginia local senior league and have I played senior travel ball since turning 49, (now 59). I will be available to attend the Winter National pre-tournament meeting to meet with coaches and/or players if required. Please advise if you are looking for a third or first basemen that can hit with power to all fields. Thank you for your time and the opportunity to help your team. Please keep all the folks recovering from the recent horrific hurricanes in your prayers, (including the citizens in Puerto Rico still recovering from Maria - 2017). Best of luck to all players/teams. Thanks again. B.J. V/r

Discussion: New Miken and Worth Senior bats for 2019

Alan is point on with his UTrip DC-41 comparison to the Miken Big Cat, I have both the 2017 UTrip and ASA model, as with the Big Cat, if you like a full ounce end load you will enjoy the performance of the Miken DC-41 bats. The 2017 Miken Big CAT is also a beast for those who have not tried it. Good Luck. V/r BJR

Discussion: New 60s AAA team forming in Virginia

Hello, I reside in Chesapeake VA and am eligible to play 60 the first of Oct this year, (I turn 60 next August {2019}). I presently play for DHF, local senior league and have played a couple of senior tourneys with them this year. In the past I played with a senior softball tourney team, 55 AAA out of Maryland, (Hartford County 55). I am interested in playing in either the 60 AAA or Major division. My plan is to watch a few 60 teams play this weekend at Ocean City, Md. Request you advise if you are still looking for players, I can provide character and softball ability references. Thank you for your time and consideration. V/r BJR

Discussion: Looking for a 50 AAA / Major Team Myrtle Beach Tournament Oct 28-30

I am an outfielder 52 YOA, average speed for my size and arm, big bat, (can drive the ball out to all fields). Retired military, gymrat for 30 plus years, (physically fit). I recently played my first senior tournament this year (2011 - 50 AAA), (ISSA Winter Nationals Virginia Beach), and was selected to the all Tournament Team (All World). I have played softball since 1979. I have allocated the time and resources to play at Myrtle Beach, however; have not found a AAA / Major team that routinely plays in senior tournaments (AAA / Major) in the Tidewater Virginia area. I presently live in Chesapeake, VA and would like the opportunity to play in the Myrtle Beach Tournament.

Thank you for your time and consideration.
