Discussion: NorCal Warriors bumped to Major Plus

I have sent in all the scores for the three tourneys we played this year.see what happens , if we are not dropped down unfortunately my team will fold. We are the only Major plus team in New England so there is no other team to for most of us to go play for. I guess my boat will get more use. Lol

Hey Tim,
I assume that the team Tattoball is talking about is my team Sportscenter from Mass. I could understand making moves during the year if they were consistent and also pushed teams down like they move them up.
We are 0 and 10 against major plus teams including 0and 4 at last years worlds and yet we are required to stay at this level. I have appealed again to be moved down and would appreciate any input you can to Ssusa for help. I'm sure you realize that we are a level too high. Thanks

Sorry Tim I have been misinformed. That's great theft there are major and major plus teams going. The only way to find out if we belong in the plus division is to play those teams.

Thanks for the info

Well said Reb!
I know exactly how you feel, our team got moved up this year and we have no one to play unless we fly West. we are from the Northeast and the tournament we just played in had only AAA teams in it. We give them 5 runs, an extra fielder and we can only hit 3 homeruns and then there outs.
its no fun for us or for our opponents .We have 6 guys on our team that are over 55 and they cant even go play for anybody else because they are labeled major plus. We are planning to go to Delaware next month which is about an 8 hour drive and I just heard that they will only have AAA teams there also. we have to play at least three tournaments in order to try and get reclassified and we might play 3 and not see a MAJOR team never mind a MAJOR PLUS team all year. I feel your pain. I hope something changes or our team will most likely fold. Good luck to you

Well said Perly!!! Our game is not perfect but I love it . We are so fortunate just to have an organization for us to continue to play and compete.

Am excited to be part of ssb , played my first tournament last month and loved it. I am still competing with the kids and the presence of illegal bats is worse than ever. The teams that do cheat have a big advantage over those that dont. Not really sure what can be done about it but I love this thread, if for no other reason it calls out ones that do cheat.
I will admit that I did swing a shaved bat at a tournament a couple years ago and felt guilty about it enough to never do it again.
I promise to never cheat again, On MY Honor,
