Discussion: Looking for a couple quality players over 40

Team is located in the Maryland/Virginia area. Currently playing over 40. Looking to add a couple players this year. Need committed shortstop/3rd base and committed outfielder. If interested let me know. Thanks

True Story right there! I've never been rained out in Disney, but know teams that went to the one pitch. When I hit the Mega Millions I plan on having a complex here in the MD/PA area that we can have tournaments all year round! hahah Live the Dream

Discussion: Very Disappointed in Rock N Reno

It's understood that the weather was not the typical Reno weather. However, it's my understanding that this was the same type of conditions from the prior weekend. The forecast was there. As said, what was most disappointing was that at 8 a.m. nobody had even attempted to work the fields. The lower fields were not even considered as an option.
The sorry thanks for coming doesn't cut it. This being our teams first experience, sorry but it was not favorable.
I play in many tournaments, usssa coed and womens, asa womens and coed, ISA coed and senior ball. I never had a director eliminate teams from a tournament. I have had many a tournament cancelled, moved, turn to 1 pitch, and yes even credit given towards the next tournament. With nothing offered up and no attempt to work on the fields I'm not sure I will be as inclined to put out the money again to travel to the West Coast.
