Prescott Tournament Medical Update
Hey it’s Hack!! Just wanted to let everyone know I’m doing really good Took some time, rest and fluids for me to get back to “normal” whatever that is !! I’m home now and going to rest and I have a big glass of water next to me. I just wanted to thank everyone for their love, concern and prayers for me!! This is a very special team and we all support and encourage each other at all times. I know a lot of us are hurt, injured or have medical and family issues but we all seem to pull together and help each other when needed. I am so privileged to be a part of this Scorpion team. Many blessings to you all ( and all the wives too!! ) Hack (and Vickie too)

Today Hack had a medical event at the tourney in Prescott. The quick and successful resolution to this event started with our umpire Mike. He recognized Hack was struggling physically and mentally. Within moments fans and players with medical expertise stepped in. Hack was moved into the dugout, his vitals evaluated and valuable information gathered for when the medical personnel arrive. The active medical professionals did what they do and it was determined Hack was out of danger.

Our softball family is as competitive as it gets between the lines, but once one of us down, caring compassion takes over. I counted members from 5 different teams caring for Hack. 2 retired nurses, retired EMT, retired paramedic and an er doc. These professionals were enabled by accurate medical information relayed by Victoria (wife) and others.

We all should have our medications and significant medical information available within our ball bag and marked for information purposes.

Thank you again for everyone's care, concerns, and prayers.

Mike Adair
